About the Author 

Charles L. Gaby, CPIM, is the President of Xdata solutions inc. Prior to founding Xdata in 1993, Gaby was Vice President of Information Systems for an Industrial Fan and Blower manufacturer with multiple manufacturing facilities and international sales. While there, he and other present Xdata employees designed and programmed their first Rules-Based Product Configurator. Gaby has over 30 years of Manufacturing Systems Experience, with more than 20 years working directly for “To-Order” manufacturers, including a Fortune 250 company.

Gaby has been a certified member of American Production and Inventory Control Society (APICS) for approximately 20 years with a keen understanding of General Accounting, Inventory Accounting, Inventory Control, and Manufacturing-Control Systems Design.  Gaby’s experience includes manufacturing-consulting and systems-development in both the private and public sectors of manufacturing, logistics, and distribution.
